Description
Lusin® Clean G 320 is a ready-to-use granular cleaning compound for the screws, cylinders and nozzles of thermoplastic injection molding machines. Acceptable for use in the food industry where there is no possibility of food contact. The compound consists of high grade plastic with additives and contains no abrasives. Material can be used up to 320°C/608°F and is suitable for cleaning of tools and hot runner systems.

Application
Lusin® Clean G 320, when applied at the correct material temperature, removes crusts and deposits from screw, cylinder and nozzle.

After the cleaning with Lusin® Clean G 320, the screw can be removed very easily, if required. When Lusin® Clean G 320 is used for purging and returning to production, its cleaning efficiency allows for faster return to service while reducing start-up scrap due to color or polymer contamination.

Application Procedure
1. For quantity of Lusin® Clean G 320: refer to Dosage Table.
2. Empty cylinder.
3. Fill hopper with Lusin® Clean G 320. The cleaning process should be done using the processing temperature of the previous material.
4. Plasticize Lusin® Clean G 320 through the cylinder.
Note: For optimum cleaning, or when there is high level of contamination, the recommended procedure is to stop the screw when Lusin® Clean G 320 starts to emerge and allow it to react for 3 to 5 minutes. After this period, plasticize the rest of Lusin® Clean G 320 with a high screw speed.
5. After successful cleaning, place the new material into the hopper. Set the machine at processing temperature for the new material and begin normal production.

Storage/Handling
Lusin® Clean G 320 has a shelf life of two (2) years and should be stored its in original sealed packing in a dry indoor area. For further information on storage, handling, hazards, etc., please request a copy of Chem-Trend's Material Safety Data Sheet.
