TRENCHCOAT™The protective film is a double-layer adhesive film used to be compounded with galvanized steel to make corrugated steel pipes. TRENCHCOAT film can be compounded on coil, flat plate or ribbon galvanized steel, and then made into corrugated steel pipes or other products of similar structure. This film provides anti-corrosion and anti-wear protection for steel. TRENCHCOAT products should only be processed by Dow-approved composite processors. When making composite TRENCHCOAT steel pipes into corrugated steel pipes or spiral rib pipes, care should be taken to minimize damage to the film. The protective layer shall be repaired in accordance with ASTM A 762/762M Note II and AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Workers) M245 Note II.
