UNIPURGE™ DFDB-0964 Natural 7

Brief introduction:

UNIPURGE™DFDB-0964 Natural 7 is a pelletized polyethylene-based cleaning material, which has excellent cleaning characteristics and low odor. UNIPURGE DFDB-0964 Natural 7 provides a practical solution for quickly and economically cleaning plastic processing equipment such as extruders and injection molding machines. When using the product normally, you can reduce the machine cleaning downtime to a minimum and speed up the transition between variety conversion. UNIPURGE DFDB-0964 Natural 7 can be applied to film extrusion equipment, profile extrusion, wire coating, injection molding and blending lines. In the past 20 years, UNIPURGE cleaning machine materials have become the main force in the industry, solving the old problem of fast and economical cleaning of extruders for the first time. UNIPURGE DFDB-0964 Natural 7 has excellent cleaning function and can efficiently clean machines and equipment.

How does this product work?
Add several cleaning agents to the polyethylene-based product to produce a compound with excellent cleaning performance and cleaning function. DFDB-0964 Natural 7 cleaning material is used for extrusion with less electricity. This kind of cleaning machine material is especially suitable for cleaning machines of extruders when shutdown is required for a period of time. The rigidity of this kind of cleaning material can remove harder polyethylene grade products, so that they can be washed out together with softer grade products.

why do you want to clean the machine?
just before the equipment is disassembled and cleaned, using DFDB-0964 Natural 7 to clean the machine materials can significantly reduce the cleaning downtime. The cleaning material can effectively remove the polyethylene degraded at the extruder barrel and head. Since there is still a minimum amount of DFDB-0964 Natural 7 clearing material in the extruder when the extruder is closed for drying, it is convenient to take out the extruder screw. DFDB-0964 Natural 7 cleaning material can be easily removed from the head, connectors and head die holes. Since the frequency and downtime of shutdown due to cleaning can be reduced, it is a good preventive maintenance measure to regularly use DFDB-0964 Natural 7 cleaning materials for cleaning. Similarly, the high efficiency cleaning capacity of DFDB-0964 Natural 7 cleaning materials can significantly reduce waste when converting from a low melt index material to a high melt index material and color conversion.

When to use:
In addition to the several situations previously described, it is recommended to use the UNIPURGE in the following situations:
1. The screen of the machine head is excessively worn (prescription: Use cleaning machine materials, no need to change the processing conditions, then use standard materials)
2. when switching from a larger thickness to a smaller thickness (equal to or less than 0.75 mil (19 microns)), (clean the machine before reducing the thickness)
3. clean the machine just before shutdown. (During shutdown, DFDB-0964 Natural 7 cleaning materials will remain in the extruder to protect the internal parts, and standard materials can be used to quickly clear them when starting up.)

how to use:
in order to achieve satisfactory cleaning effect, the amount of cleaning materials used in DFDB-0964 Natural 7 shall depend on the degree of pollution and the specifications of the equipment. Under the normal use of the UNIPURGE, the better the effect of the first cleaning, the less cleaning material is required in the subsequent cleaning operation.

For example, extruders and heads that have been used for a long time will accumulate a large amount of degraded resin. In this case, when cleaning the machine, it is recommended to remove the net stack first to prevent serious blockage or fracture of the machine head. The increase in the pressure of the extruder behind the mesh stack means blockage. In this case, it is recommended to consider replacing the mesh stack. Once the DFDB-0964 Natural 7 cleaning material is used continuously and regularly, it is generally no longer necessary to remove the net stack during the cleaning operation or after the cleaning operation is completed.

The recommended upper limit of processing temperature is 250°C. It should be avoided to use for a long time in the case of exceeding the recommended upper processing temperature, because this will produce exhaust gas or cause resin degradation. It is also necessary to avoid placing the product in an idle heating machine without operating the machine. It is recommended to always keep the machine in a state where the screw is operating.

DFDB-0964 Natural 7 cleaning materials can be used to clean all standard polyethylene extrusion materials. In general, there is no need to change the material temperature setting of the equipment. However, in order to achieve a more effective cleaning effect, it is recommended to use a neutral screw, and repeatedly reduce and increase the screw speed, and adjust the speed of the winding or extraction device accordingly to avoid material breakage. If the screw is excessively slipping, the primary color polyethylene resin and the DFDB-0964 Natural 7 can be diluted according to the ratio of 50:50, so that the DFDB-0964 Natural 7 can be fully effective. DFDB-0964 Natural 7 can then be easily flushed out using standard materials. In this step, the use of the primary color resin together with the DFDB-0964 Natural 7 reduces the possibility of screw slip and achieves rapid cleaning at a general cost.

Compliance of this product to U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations:
The polyethylene resin in DFDB-0964 Natural 7 complies with the requirements of the olefin polymer par (c) 2.1 part of the food additive regulation 21 CFR 177.1520. The additives in this product are regulated by the corresponding food additive regulations.

DFDB-0964 Natural 7 is used as a cleaning material for cleaning extruders. DFDB-0964 Natural 7 is not used for food packaging materials. This cleaning material meets the regulatory requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regarding polyolefin materials that contact food, making it more suitable for use as a cleaning material in food packaging manufacturing and other processing processes that contact food. From a legal point of view, DFDB-0964 Natural 7 cannot be used to make utensils that hold food during cooking.
