Ducaseal, PVC compounds have been specially developed for ease of processing on co-extrusion and post co-extrusion processes and are suitable for static and dynamic applications. They enable processors to manufacture end products that will adhere to PVC and offer consistently good surface finish - an important characteristic that minimises the ingress of dust and dirt and adds value by increasing product service life.
Several tailored grades have been produced, all of which offer attractive cost performance ratios.
With a deflection recovery of 25% minimum Ducaseal Static provides a durable seal between PVC profiles and sealed glazing units. Conversely, Ducaseal Dynamic features a deflection recovery of 40% minimum and is designed to offer weatherproof door and window closure seals.
For applications involving contact with PC (polycarbonate), such as conservatory roofing seals, Ducaseal Non-Migratory overcomes the problem of stress cracking.
Ducaseal Anti-Microbial helps to control bacterial growth in damp and humid conditions, for example in showers and bathrooms.
All our compounds are highly specified and meet the performance requirements of BPF 345/2 - PVC-U materials for gaskets and weatherstrips for windows, doors, conservatories and curtain walling.
Materials are available in a range of colours alongside black, white or grey - the most popular shades in Europe.
