Ecobarrier Flexible Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) compounds provide the most cost effective, easily processed material option for injection molded or thermoformed acoustical management applications. Ecobarrier's full range of specific gravity and other physical property options allows you to customize your application needs to achieve the most cost effective sound barrier solution.
Ecobarrier compounds are used in noise reduction applications in the light vehicle through heavy commercial truck industry as well as other transportation and recreational vehicles. Applications include: dash mats, rain shields, closeout panels, seals and engine blankets.
Features Include:
Specific gravity range from 1.20 - 2.50 g/cc
Calcium carbonate and barium sulfate filler options
Various hardness options available
Formulations for injection molding as well as sheet extrusion
Can be formulated utilizing reprocessed base materials
Customized formulations available to meet your specific need
All Ecobarrier products are 100% recyclable
